When an individual comes for therapy it is such a lovely opportunity to focus on oneself, something we do not do very often in the everyday business of our lives. During your appointment you will have my undivided attention to discuss whatever you feel is most troublesome in your life, whether it be in the past, present or future. People find themselves in emotional pain for an infinite number of reasons. I work with clients to achieve self-compassion as part of the therapeutic process because no matter how broken one may feel, it is possible to love oneself. I will do my best to meet your needs and work with you to improve the way you cope and relate to any sort of emotional trauma. My hope is that you feel empowered to change the way you feel and to find some sense of control, even when it does not feel possible. I believe that all individuals I work with are the experts of their own life and that my role is to respectfully help facilitate your journey of self-discovery. We will work together to uncover you answers, help you gain clarity and accomplish the therapeutic goals you wish to achieve.
